Sending the Haiti Team Off With Prayer

This entry was posted on Jul 02, 2011, by Bonner Ercums and is filed under Inspiration, Outbound, The Beat @ LLYC

Round up was absolutely incredible last night. Second session had the immense pleasure of sending off our Outbound group to Haiti. Emotions were high as we surrounded the team and laid hands on them as a camp.

The Outbound Haiti group is made up of 38 people, about 20 of which are high school students and the rest are LLYC staff members. Each one of these people are answering the call of the Lord to go out into the world and spread His truth. Matthew 28:19 says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

In verse 20 God follows up His command with a promise. He says, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” I know God will be right there with the team this week, but I would like to ask that you keep the Outbound Haiti team in your prayers. Pray that God will be with each one of them and work through them in a mighty way so that the people of Haiti might feel the love of a Savior.

God will be moving in Haiti this next week. There’s no doubt about it. I am absolutely brimming with excitement to hear of all the incredible work that is about to be done!
