We are so very excited that we can barely contain ourselves. Last weekend we had the opportunity to travel to Haiti to see Jacob’s Well and to spend time with the Valcin family, who will be hosting us this summer. We were so immensely blessed by this experience that we wanted to share it with you right away! First, Betty and Gersan Valcine were the most generous hosts and we cannot wait for all of you to meet them. Second, Jacob’s Well is truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been and we just know that you’ll feel the same. Third, Haiti has been so devastated by the earthquake that there is no better time to pour into that country. During our time there we felt the people of Haiti not only welcomed us, but those who spoke English wanted to get to know us.
Upon our return, we were so happy to see that some of you have gotten started on your fundraising and we thank you for that! Please get those sent out as soon as you can. It truly could not be a more worthy cause, and we cannot wait for when we will all be there together!
