Trey Tull – Associate Director

LLYC Tull FamilyTrey has been at LLYC as Director over Echo Valley since 2005. The Tulls’ relationship with LLYC started in 1995 when Leah (Russell), his cute wife, was a counselor and girls’ director at Echo Valley for two summers. Trey graduated from A&M (Whoop!) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and received a Master of Arts in Leadership at Denver Seminary. Fueled by a passion for the outdoors, Trey served many summers at Young Life’s Wilderness Ranch, guiding high schoolers into the wilderness for weeks at a time. He splits his free time between elk hunting, jogging with his kids, and, as of recently, raising chickens. He best describes his life as being a combination of “near-death experiences and most-embarrassing moments.” Needless to say . . . we LOVE his really great stories!

At LLYC, Trey sees his job as fostering the relational and creative potential that 200 passionate and enthusiastic college kids bring to camp. He loves seeing staff grow and succeed in their individual roles. Trey and Leah are blessed with three beautiful children, Elli, Claire, and Luke and another on the way. They love having camp in their front yard… they spend as much time as possible in the river, at the Sugar Shack, or digging in “the world’s biggest sandbox (volleyball courts.)” Leah works hard serving the family as a mom and a Realtor in Kerrville. Trey and Leah are humble servants and empowering leaders. They desire to build community, and have a deep, genuine love for people. LLYC is blessed to have the Tulls.
