Don’t miss this dining lesson and reflection on the precious tradition that is dinner.

Growing up, I loved when my Grammy would tell stories—especially about her childhood in the early 1900s. She was the sixth of seven children born into a first-generation Norwegian family who settled on a farm in Wisconsin. As she cooked for us, Grammy told stories about our family’s history and traditions. Then we would gather for the meal, and she would tell us more stories. Around the dinner table, I learned the heart of her love for family meals.
