We have two sets of family friends who have just returned to the mission field overseas. They are adjusting to life in Africa and Turkey after having been in The States for a few months. This got me thinking about camp and how leaving camp (as a staffer and/or camper) and assimilating back to the real world can be a bumpy ride. It was always so hard to go from being around people all day and night to having privacy and boredom again. And didn’t your table manners always need a serious tune-up after camp?
