We are so eternally grateful to have had the pleasure of spending time getting to know each and everyone one of you.
As we go back to our busy lives full of all of the world’s challenges, mundane tasks, and distractions, we pray that all of us can be reminded of the importance of spending time being aware of the Lord’s presence. Remember how that looked at camp – sitting peacefully, listening to the sound of the wind within the trees, feeling the joy in our hearts while singing and praying, dancing, playing, even just sharing laughter during our time together. We hope you know that the Lord loves each and every one of you. We are so encouraged by our time in the canyon together!
This summer we dove deep into Galatians 5:22 and the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We praise God that these fruits are produced through the Holy Spirit. We encourage each and everyone one of you to pray over these words, whether that be by making a song with the word “joy” in it, asking the Lord to give you “kind words to speak,” or being “patient” in the stillness. We want to remind each of you that you have the ability to take time to read Scripture and write down a verse or two underlining, highlighting, and drawing whatever you want!
We miss you all so much and are so excited to hear about all the ways the Lord moves through your lives this school year.
We cannot wait for all the reunion hugs! Until then keep texting, calling, and FaceTiming your cabin mates and counselors – God gave you this wonderful community of girls for a reason.
All our love,
Audrey and Vivi
