Hey Girls' Side!

Hi Girls Side! Man! I feel like a woman, do you? 😉

We miss you already.

This summer we got to learn about what it means to be ESHET CHAYIL, a woman of VALOR. Throughout rooted we examined what that means through the verse Proverbs 31:25-26. “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.” Strength, laughter, wisdom, and kindness are all attributes of the valorous women God created us to be. We encourage each and everyone one of you to pray over these words and ruminate on how each of you can have strength in challenging times, laughter that brings life, wisdom in all that you do and speaking with kindness.

As we go back to our busy lives full of all the world’s challenges, mundane tasks, and distractions, we pray that all of us can be reminded of the importance of spending time being aware of the Lord’s presence. Remember how that looked at camp – sitting peacefully, listening to the sound of the wind within the trees, feeling the joy in our hearts while singing and praying, dancing, playing, even just sharing laughter during our time together. We hope you know that the Lord loves each and every one of you. We are so encouraged by our time in the canyon together!

We hope that you feel courageous, strong, and powerful back home in your classrooms, extracurriculars, and hangouts with friends. We are so proud of the ways your expressed yourselves at camp and pray that the rest of the world gets to experience your laughter, kindness, and honesty. We cannot wait for all the reunion hugs! Until then keep texting, calling, and FaceTiming your cabin mates and counselors – God gave you this wonderful community of girls for a reason.

All our love,

Anna and Audrey
