We’re excited that you’re interested in becoming an LLYC Associate!

The LLYC Associates Program is a dynamic 2-year work program that incorporates personal, professional, and spiritual development experiences throughout your employment. You will work closely alongside the LLYC full-time staff throughout the year and for 2 summers.

There are many tasks and assignments that our Associates will receive, but above all this is a highly relational position. You will create new relationships with potential summer staff candidates, maintain relationships with previous staff throughout the school year, and dive deep into relational ministry during the summer. Our goal is always to make our staff feel loved, cared for, and encouraged in their faith.

During the year leading up to summers you will play a significant role in planning and preparing for camp. You will brainstorm, plan, schedule, organize, execute, and evaluate small recruiting events and large staff events in various college cities. You will interview and make hiring decisions on summer staff candidates, onboard and communicate with new hires, plan staff retreats, help plan the summer camp schedule, develop ministry curriculum, design and select camp store merchandise, schedule staff for activity trainings, make camp activities preparations, develop camp program themes and ideas, lead some elements of pre-camp staff training, and much more.

During the summers you will serve on LLYC Central Leadership Staff, lead a team of summer staff, and help provide an incredible experience for every camper entering the Canyon.
