If you require assistance getting your camper to and/or from camp, we have a few options for you to consider:

BUS TRANSPORTATION

If you would like to send your camper by bus, you must pay for a reservation for each camper you register. You will do this through your account after you have completed registration. There are drop-off and pick-up locations in Houston and San Antonio. Reservations are limited to the number of seats available on each bus. We charter 45-passenger buses and fill them to a 35-camper capacity to accommodate campers’ carry-on luggage. Should you need to reserve passage for a camper or luggage only, we are still required to charge the full bus fee.

HOUSTON: Camper bus departs on Sunday at 8:30 a.m from Lamar High School, east parking lot, at 3325 Westheimer Road in the west lot off of West Alabama Street. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. The bus will return to the same location on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Campers traveling on the bus will stop in Seguin to eat a fast-food lunch both ways. Campers will need lunch money.

SAN ANTONIO: Camper bus departs on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. from the far end of the parking lot at Bass Pro Shops, 17907 IH 10 West, San Antonio, TX 78257. The bus returns to the same location on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

FLIGHTS

If you would like to send a camper by air, you will need to pay for your airport pick-up and/or drop-off through your account after you have registered your camper. Flights must be booked into and out of the San Antonio International Airport. Arrival flights should be made between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Departure flights should be made between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Campers with flight reservations will be picked up and/or dropped off at the airport by senior LLYC staff counselors and transported in a Suburban. Please send a copy of your flight information along with your cell phone and camper’s cell phone numbers to our registrar. These will be given to the counselor picking up your camper.
