Each summer, a few dozen staff members sign up to go on LLYC Outbound, a backpacking trip in the Colorado Rockies. If you can’t get enough of God’s beautiful creation after a summer in the Frio Canyon, this is the trip for you. Backpack on remote trails. Discover the stars again. Develop friendships. Share deep faith conversations. Sit by the campfire at night. Sip hot coffee on cold mornings.
There is no better way to end your summer than turning off Netflix, escaping air conditioning, and engaging the world directly. Because climbing a mountain is the best way to rest.
When: Arrive the evening of August 8, 2022. Depart the afternoon of August 12, 2022 or morning of August 13.
On trail: Start hiking the morning of August 9 through late morning August 12.
