Houston, We Have Alums!
Last Thursday, a fun crowd of LLYC Alums gathered for an evening at The Del in Houston. Several generations of campers and staff were represented and, as always, fun was definitely had.

Here are a few words from several attendees:

“I am so thankful for LLYC reunions! I can’t say how great it is to get together with old friends and reminisce about our times in the Canyon. Getting together with this group, who was so important to my formation, reignites my faith all over again.”

-Lauren Brindley

“From the outside looking in, you can’t understand it. From the inside looking out, you can’t explain it.” This phrase is oft used to describe the Aggie Spirit. But it’s just as fitting to describe the Spirit of LLYC. It was so refreshing to catch up with friends who shared such a transformational and special time with me, and to meet new ones who I have so much in common wire. No offense to anyone else, but it was especially good to see Chandler. If you didn’t make it——don’t let that happen again!”

-Jimmy Vitulli

“Getting together with a group of LLYC friends always brings me right back to my favorite place and some of my favorite memories. Chandler didn’t do a dance, but at least he has his goatee back! Everyone started pulling up old Facebook albums and going through pictures and telling stories. It was a great way to reconnect with people who understand how LLYC changes lives, and who understand you when you’re talking about that one time in redneck sports. I wish we could have these all the time!”
