Blayze grew up in Sonora, Texas, where his parents own a restaurant. He has two older sisters who are married and have recently blessed him with two baby nephews. Blayze graduated from Texas Tech University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Finance. Amidst the season of graduating and figuring out next steps, he felt called to move to Kerrville and work for a place that is very near and dear to his heart.
Growing up, Blayze enjoyed being involved in his small Baptist church, going to Laity Lodge Youth Camp in the summers, and playing sports and hanging out with friends during the school year. Throughout his time in college, he was on leadership for his church’s college ministry and played an active part in his Christian fraternity, BYX. These ministries and organizations have immensely grown Blayze in his faith and shaped the person he is today.
For fun, Blayze loves watching and playing tennis. He also plays pickleball (the easier version of tennis), so if you ever want to play, let him know! Reading and chatting with friends are some of his favorite pastimes, specifically at coffee shops or somewhere near a body of water.
