Lice Information

All incoming campers are screened for lice during check-in on Opening Day at LLYC. Complete Relief Lice Care handles lice screening and treatment for LLYC. If lice or nits are found, this company will treat campers on-site for $250. Treatment is fully guaranteed. Should you choose not to have your child treated on-site, we will require you to remove your child from camp to receive treatment. Your camper can then return to camp the following day, be rechecked and admitted to camp. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause you or your family, but we trust you understand the seriousness of this issue and its effect on the LLYC community.

So that all campers arrive at camp ready to have fun right from the beginning we highly encourage having your camper pre-screened for lice up to one week prior to camp. This saves time and eliminates the worry or unexpected need for lice treatment prior to moving into the cabin. In addition to ensuring a good start to camp for everyone, this appointment will allow your child to skip the lice check when they arrive at camp on Opening Day.
